Born amidst the beauty of Scotland, our jewellery journey began with a love for history and a passion for craftsmanship. Each piece of jewellery is a unique creation, crafted from fragments of pottery, stone and gems discovered in the serene Scottish landscape. These buried treasures, are lovingly transformed into stunning handmade jewellery. By giving new life to these forgotten pieces, Wild Gems celebrates the rich heritage of Scotland while creating timeless, wearable art. THE CRAFTSWOMAN

Meet Kathy Lawrence, the jeweller behind Wild Gems one-of-a-kind pieces. A graduate of the City of Glasgow College, Kathy combines her deep appreciation for Scotland's rich history with her skills in jewellery making. Her journey began with a fascination for the unique beauty of pottery fragments found whilst walking her dog Nova in the fields of West Lothian, which she now transforms into exquisite jewellery. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling, Kathy meticulously crafts each piece by hand, ensuring that every creation is as unique as the history it embodies. Her work not only showcases her artistic flair but also her dedication to preserving and celebrating Scotland's cultural heritage.
